Picasso portraits revisited

Every quarter, 8th graders create a portrait in the style of Picasso. We have created these in a multiple of ways in the past but this collage method has really been a successful start for all students. This lesson was adapted from United Art & Education's recent Project Guide.

  3. Oh my goodness. These are just beautiful. I love the use of all the "scrap" paper, and the contrast of the newspaper next to the bright construction paper. Wonderful. I am going to try this with my fourth grade art club today! :)
