Zentangle Landscapes

After a day of practicing landscapes and zentangle patterns, 7th grade students were asked to combine the two ideas into an abstract drawing. Tomorrow we'll be adding a couple of scratch-art collage pieces to create contrast and emphasis.

Check back soon for more progress!

  3. Can you possibly share the sheet of patterns that your students used? I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere on line. Thank you so much!

  5. Hello, I love your blog and I tried a version of zentangle pattern landscapes with my grade 5 at the start of this year. They worked out wonderfully and all the students were so proud of their efforts. I placed a link to this post on my blog post about this activity.
