Welcome 7th grade!
1st post for 7th grade. Yeah!
For our first project we have been working on 3D landscape paintings. These paintings are inspired by the Amate (bark) paintings of Mexico and use color-encoding to make certain colors "pop" from the background. Here are a couple of pics of the finished artworks!

Note for quarters one and two: Please mark your calendars! On Saturday, November 28th, the Barnes and Noble in St. Cloud (along with the Becker PTSA) will be displaying some of our artwork made this year. Artwork will only be on display for one day so don't miss it!

8th grade Syllabus and copy of general rubric
This is the syllabus for 8th grade art. Click on picture for a larger version. See Mrs. Hare if you want a paper copy of the syllabus. Go Green! Yay!
Here is a copy of the rubric outline we use for each project. The first three criteria vary from project to project. Sometimes we decide the criteria as a class, sometimes the criteria is pre-determined by Ms. Hare. Please contact me if you would like to see the specific criteria for a project.
