After a day of practicing landscapes and zentangle patterns, 7th grade students were asked to combine the two ideas into an abstract drawing. Tomorrow we'll be adding a couple of scratch-art collage pieces to create contrast and emphasis.
Check back soon for more progress!
These remind me a little bit of my own personal art! :) I don't know if you saw my grad school work. http://matartshowtededinger.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThese look great. Can you tell me about the handouts you made/used?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Can you possibly share the sheet of patterns that your students used? I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere on line. Thank you so much!

google "zentangle patterns" for the handouts! :)
ReplyDeleteHello, I love your blog and I tried a version of zentangle pattern landscapes with my grade 5 at the start of this year. They worked out wonderfully and all the students were so proud of their efforts. I placed a link to this post on my blog post about this activity.
