Picasso pop cans update!

This project was a blast! Not only was crushing the can into a face shape really fun but adding multiple views into one artwork was a new, challenging way of looking at a portrait. Pop cans were glued onto a "wonky" perspective hallway drawing and repeating pattern adorns the walls.

  1. What a great idea! Ties in recycling too--always a bonus when some of the art supplies are free :).

  5. I don't see a response from this teacher however, it looks like the puffy paints or the 3D colored glue. Love this idea! Thanks!

  6. Yes, it was colored puff paint...just the stuff at Wal-Mart. We used some paint pens as well.

  7. Very cool! What grade was this? I was thinking 6th maybe? Did you just use regular elmers to glue the can on or something stronger? Assuming acrylic paint would also work fine.
